Our top priority at UPPAbaby is the safety of children. We conduct extensive testing to ensure UPPAbaby products meet all global industry and regulatory standards.

Despite extensive testing and passing of all global industry and regulatory testing, UPPAbaby received reports of children biting down and tearing off a piece of the new 2015 stroller bumper bar. There have been no injuries reported.

However, since UPPAbaby considers this to be a safety hazard, the company is issuing a Safety Advisory on the bumper bar on the 2015 VISTA stroller, 2015 CRUZ stroller, and 2015 RumbleSeat purchased from 01 January - 08 June 2015.

 

 

We are addressing this issue by reintroducing a bumper bar cover, which zips over the bumper bar.

UPPAbaby is instructing consumers to immediately remove and stop using the bumper bar on the 2015 strollers and 2015 RumbleSeat purchased from 01 January - 08 June 2015. Once the bumper bar cover is received and put onto the bumper bar, consumers can resume use of the bumper bar.

You will be receiving a box of bumper bar covers to be used for existing inventory and for any customers that inquire in-store. Please see below for rework procedure documents. If you run out of bumper bar covers, please contact Clever Clogs directly.

All inventory shipped from Clever Clogs as of 09 June 2015 already contain bumper bar covers. Please see rework procedure documents for pictures of marking/QC sticker denoting reworked product.

Customers who have registered their product on the UPPAbaby website will automatically receive a free bumper bar cover in the mail. If a customer registered his or her product with your store, please contact them and send out a free bumper bar cover.
